About the event
The Audition Workshop
We believe the most effective way to assess a young actor is to see them in a working environment rather than a high-pressure, solo audition.
Admission to the Academy is determined by participation in a free, structured workshop. This session serves a dual purpose: it offers the student a genuine "taster" of our screen curriculum to see if they enjoy the work, while allowing our panel to assess their suitability for the full programme.
The session is designed to be supportive, energetic, and enjoyable. We want every participant to leave having had a positive experience, regardless of the final outcome.
What the session involves:
A Relaxed Atmosphere: We remove the nerves associated with traditional auditions by running a group session that focuses on interaction and creativity rather than "performance."
